Outline of Research at the Start

頭頸部扁平上皮癌は審美的・機能的損失によるQOLの著しい低下を引き起こす。従っ て、これらを軽減する治療法の開発は臨床上の大きな課題である。申請者は、これまでに脱ユビキチン化酵素に着目し、頭頸部扁平上皮癌細胞の増殖抑制を誘導する候補分子を同定している。 本研究では、脱ユビキチン化酵素研究を国際的にリードする海外共同研究者との国際共同研究により、基課題を発展させ、これら分子に対する包括的な分子基盤の確立と in vitroの再構成系を用いた阻害剤スクリーニングにより、頭頚部扁平上皮癌の革新的治療法を創出することを目的とする。
