Research Abstract |
This paper developed several methods for analyzing the relations among the distributions of spatial objects. Spatial tessellations, the distributions of polygons, and the distributions of points were discussed in terms of topological relations, hierarchical relations, complementary relations, and spatial proximity. The paper applies the methods to the analysis of real spatial data to validate the significance of the methods.
