Research Abstract |
The first major outcome of this research project is the theoretical understanding of the process of reentry of offenders, especially juvenile offenders, based on the strength-based model. As a result, two books, a theoretical book for professionals and a book of collection of biographies of desisting juvenile delinquents have been published. Another book including the translation of a masterpiece on desistance is under final correction. The second major outcome is the establishment of a mutual-help group of ex-inmates of juvenile training schools through action research, which has grown organizationally. An ex-inmate is going to succeed me as a director of the group, which will help this group become truly self-help.
