Research Abstract |
This research project summarized the survey and behavior analysis methodologies, considering important characteristics of inter-city passenger transportation, such as, scarce trip generation, imperfect user knowledge, complement or competitive relations on network. We proposed a revision method on biased sample data, a data fusion method using different data sources. Hierarchical structure of business firms were also analyzed in order to understand negative effect of transportation improvement on local economy, sometimes called as “straw absorbing effect."
