Research Abstract

On the risk of biliary tract cancer in Thailand, significant interaction of genetic polymorphisms between DNA repair gene hOGG1 Ser326Cys and drug metabolizing enzyme gene GSTM1 polymorphisms were observed. Significant interaction of genetic polymorphisms between drug metabolizing enzyme genes CYP2E1 c1/c2+c2/c2 and GSTT1 polymorphisms were also observed.
