Research Abstract |
This study focused on the integration of Japanese and British consumers co-operative movements. A national combined movement will be able to establish a strong unique image of non-profit business whereas member-oriented democracy of co-operative movement could be threatened by a giant of the organisation. Multi-stakeholder model of co-operative democracy should be scrutinized.
