Research Abstract |
This research sets out to investigate Graham Greene's way of representing his world view in the media, focusing attention on his deep interest in the media and his strategic use of it. Although Greene left behind numerous letters to the press and film critics, little attention has been given to the fact. Analyzing these materials in view of historical-cultural context makes it clear that Greene had full knowledge of the dynamics of the media as a popular cultural device, and he adopted it dexterously as his field.
