Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness the educational methodology for pre-advanced Japanese language learners that focuses on enhancing monitoring skills during oral presentations. As the result,(1) the peer evaluation activities enhance the awareness of monitoring criteria of oral presentations,(2) the metacognitive cycles of" Goal setting"," Oral Presentation"," On-going Monitoring" and" Mutual evaluation" facilitate elaborating and organizing the monitoring criteria and promote students' monitoring skills.
