Research Abstract |
Between Japan and Asian Countries there are delimitation disputes with respect to Exclusive Economic Zone and Continental Shelf. Japan asserts that the delimitation line of continental shelf between China and Japan should be a median line. This research demonstrates the appropriateness of the Japanese position. In addition, the legal response to the impedimental activities by some NGO ships against Japanese research whaling ships was also examined.
