Research Abstract |
As in an era of global knowledge economy the latest knowledge, which is a source of new business, technology and product, is increasingly scattered around the world, it is extremely important for Japanese multinational corporations(MNCs) to sense, acquire such knowledge from various places of the world and to transfer, share and utilize it among the units for achieving their competitive advantage over their foreign competitors. In order to practice such management, it is also necessary for Japanese MNCs to get capability to form an alliance with many organizations, such as firms, universities, research institutes, governmental organizations throughout the world. Through the field survey both home and abroad as well as theoretical research on such a new topic, I found that it has been becoming very important for Japanese MNCs to develop new businesses in Asian emerging markets, form new organization and to develop new type of human resources for their new growth.
