Research Abstract |
A mobile eggplant grading robot was developed in order to accumulate traceability of agricultural products. An operator drove the robot along a crop row and harvested fruits. The fruits harvested by manual were evaluated the quality by a machine vision system on the robot. At the same time the fruit quality was evaluated, the plant of which the fruit has been harvested was identified from the number of IC tags that were attached to each plant. Field maps on yield and fruit quality were created by the robot system.
