Research Abstract |
GPR55 is a seven-transmembrane G-protein-coupled receptor that has been proposed as a novel type of cannabinoid receptor. We identified lysophosphatidylinositol(LPI) as an agonist for GPR55, found that the intracellular phospholipase A1(DDHD DDHD1) is involved in the formation of 2-arachidonoyl-LPI.
