Research Abstract |
We showed that the strong induction of SERCA2 expression in the epidermal keratinocytes after the treatments with cannabinoid and vanilloid agonists are direct effects through CB2 and TRPV3/4 receptor, respectively. Also the external application on the Darier's and psoriatic model mouse as a representative of hereditary and inflammatory keratosis, we found that especially the cannabinoids brought about the significant pathological effects which include the a recovery of a stratum granulosum, while vanniloid did not bring such strong impact. I believe that the cannabinoids agonist can be a good candidate of the future therapeutic drug against the hyperkeratotic skin diseases.
