Expression of novel hypothalamic peptide RFRP increases during development. Suppression of kisspeptin expression by starvation was acquired in neonatal period, and plays an important role for suppression of gonadal function. Stresses during perinatal and neonatal period result in long-lasting influences on sexual function, therefore, it should be better to avoid stresses in tese peropds.
