Research Abstract |
To develop the new treatment strategy, I have analyzed vaccinia virus induced oncolytic bioresponse and bioimaging in malignant glioma. We found that modifications of cell signaling enhanced the oncolytic effect in glioma cells. In vivo studies with rat glioma model, the mechanism of viral anti-tumor effect are immunological response as well as oncolytic effect.
