Research Abstract |
To elucidate the mechanism of intense heat in summer around Kumagaya region and estimate the contribution of each factor of the heat, numerical simulations by WRF were performed. The high-resolution numerical simulation, which is enabled to handle the heat island over Kumagaya city area, was attempted using the original high-resolution land use data.
