Research Abstract

In this study, we aimed to develop a new neutron generator which can produce high energy neutron in wider direction using the incident γ-ray and thermal neutron extracted from reactor and/or accelerator neutron sources. Thus, the system was developed for detecting neutron and γ-ray in two dimensional directions. The evaluated spatial resolution using checking source showed that the present system is enough to exam the characteristics of the neutron generator.
