Research Abstract |
In order to analyze the physiological functions of the taste bud cells other than sweet, umami, bitter, and sour taste receptor cells (TRCs), we obtained the molecular characteristics of taste bud cells. Three genes were specifically expressed in the taste bud cells other than sweet, umami, bitter, and sour TRCs.
