Research Abstract |
The regioselective nucleophilic addition reaction of amines to 3-silylbenzynes and Diels-Alder reaction of 3-borylbenzynes, both of which are generated under mild conditions, have been developed. These new reactions can be regarded as the synthetic methods of broad multi-substituted aromatic compounds because silicon and boron substituents on aromatic ring can be converted to various functional groups.
