Research Abstract

We demonstrate that TNF-α -induced intestinal epithelial cell damage partially dependend on TWEAK/Fn14 as well as IL-13. TNF-α, IL-13 and TWEAK/Fn14 synergistically contribute to theperpetuation and aggravation of intestinal inflammation, such as ulcerative colitis.
