Research Abstract

Pemphigus vulgaris is serious autoimmune blistering disease induced by autoantibodies against desmoglein3 (Dsg3). To make Dsg3 visible, we made a Dsg3-GFP transgenic mouse. When we injected fluorescent labeling anti-Dsg3 antibody into Dsg3-GFP mouse ear skin, we have succeeded in observing the movement of Dsg3 and anti-Dsg3 antibody in vivo. Our observation would be useful to develop the disease-specific therapy to inhibit bulla formation in pemphigus vulgaris in the future.
