Research Abstract |
We aimed to investigate the enhanced effect of a carbon nanofiber and recombinant human BMP-2 in a rat spinal fusion model and rat femoral fracture model. The synergic effect of a carbon nanofiber and recombinant human BMP-2 was efficacious for fracture repair and spinal fusion significantly enhanced bone fusion. Our results suggest that this combination facilitates bone healing and has potential clinical application.
