Research Abstract

MR imaging and ultrasonographic findings that suggested extensive lipid infiltration in parotid gland as well as liver were seen in patients with dyslipidemia among metabolic syndrome.
Especially, these findings were many seen in patients with low levels of plasma HDL cholesterol, and this cholesterol has a role to return extra cholesterol which were not able to be used up by each part of body to liver.
