Research Abstract |
LPS was introduced daily into the palatal gingival sulcus of first molars in LPS-sensitized (sensitized group) or non-sentized rats (non-sensitized group). There was a significantly increase in apical migration of JE, pocket formation, bone resorption, the number of RANKL-bearing cells in the sensitized group than in the non-sensitized group. We could clearly demonstrate pocket formation and bone resorption in LPS-sensitized rats on day 30.
