Research Abstract |
In this research, I had the interviews with the persons who have experienced the Self-injury. I found that Self-injury has two purposes. The first purpose is to reduce unpleasant feelings. They can reduce the depersonalization and the depression feeling. The second purpose is to cause the change into the relation to others. The factor and the mechanism of Self-injury are still not clear. But some Self-injury persons had traumatic stress in childhood.
