Outline of Research at the Start

中国の古典的な物語である『白蛇伝』が、中国本土・香港・台湾・日本など、現代の東アジアのさまざまな国・地域の映像作品においてどのように取り上げられ、展開してきたのかを、通時的・共時的な視点から解明する。具体的には、東アジア各国・地域において、『白蛇伝』が映画・テレビドラマ・アニメーションなどの様々なメディアでどのように作品化されているか、また、そうした作品化に当たって、それらの作品群がどのような相互影響関係にあるか、さらに、それらの作品群の供給側の意図、流通の態様、観客側の受容の態様等を文献調査や関係者へのインタビュー等の方法により明らかにする。
