Outline of Research at the Start

Outline of Final Research Achievements
This practice-based study explores the educational potential of deepening understanding of the others through theatrical methods and performance, treating others encountered in the field not as objects of analysis but as beings to be “lived with.” Performance functions as an extension of anthropological participant observation in the educational setting, enabling learners to interrogate the boundaries between self and other and to experience the reconstruction of meaning. By constructing the classroom as a field-like space, the study refines a methodology in which anthropologists, actors, and learners engage with one another as literal actors. Research findings were presented primarily through conversation analysis. Ultimately, the study proposes a pedagogical approach grounded in anthropological understanding, and highlights the potential of reconstructing knowledge through embodied experience as a response to social fragmentation.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
