Outline of Research at the Start

Objective: Identify the impacts of intergenerational transfer of environmental education and self- monitoring on household indoor air pollution reduction
Treatments: 1. Environmental education and 2. Self-monitoring of indoor air quality Randomization: Participants will randomly allocated into treatment and control groups
Outcome: Households daily indoor air pollution
Unit of Analysis: Households in rural Bangladesh and India
Data: Primary survey data, Daily indoor air pollution data
Method: Field experiment (RCT). Following table represents treatment design for RCT

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

I have prepared the experimental design to conduct a double-round experiment with two treatments and collect indoor air quality (IAQ) information on air pollution.

Current Status of Research Progress
Current Status of Research Progress

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.

Reason

After make proper negotiation with local government official, I am now preparing the field experiment to gather the household level information to complete this study.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

This project is requiring the participation of different stakeholders to smoothly complete the data collection process. I have taken necessary steps to fulfill the participation of the households in this study. At this point of time, there is not much concern about the challenges in carrying out the research.
