Outline of Research at the Start

慢性炎症疾患である肺線維症は、組織損傷がきっかけで引き起こされる炎症性創傷治癒反応が過剰に継続することで進行する。そのため、肺線維症の改善には炎症を制御するメカニズムを解明することが重要となる。本研究では、イオンチャネル発現およびサイトカイン産生機構を解明することで、イオンチャネルおよびその下流シグナル分子を標的とした肺線維症に対する新規治療戦略の提唱を目指す。
