| Outline of Research at the Start |
「ネクサス」は，地域で構築される多様な関係性を束・連鎖として捉える概念装置であり，複数のネットワークを検討するための分析枠組みを提供している．ネクサスの研究成果と，ローカル，リージョナル，ナショナルといった重層的な空間性を重視する，関係論的経済地理学の成果とを接合させ，「地理的ネクサス」概念を定置することにより，ネットワーク間の相互作用関係を評価するための理論的・方法論的枠組の構築が可能になる．

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of this study is to define the bundle of relationships that are difficult to see as a ‘geographical nexus’ and to attempt theoretical examination and qualitative understanding. To this end, we have focused on those related to ‘systems’ and ‘evolution’ in the thick research accumulation and policy development surrounding industrial agglomeration and innovation in recent years, and have surveyed research trends surrounding industrial agglomeration and innovation. In addition, we confirmed the results of evolutionary economic geography, which approaches the evolution process of industrial agglomerations, and presented a perspective on industrial cluster policy. When examining the relationships within cities, we analysed the case of Fukuoka City, where the agglomeration of urban-oriented industries is prominent, and the case of Kagoshima City, where commercial redevelopment projects involving a diverse range of actors are progressing.

研究代表者が専門とする経済地理学の関係論的転回では、企業内、企業間、企業外環境（制度）の多様な関係性を分析対象として，個々のネットワークの地理的拡がりや制度的な支援体制が検討されている。本研究ではネットワーク間の相互作用関係を評価するための理論的枠組を検討したうえで、都市内部の関係性を定量的、定性的に評価するための手法について考察した。
