Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have attempted a development of a seaweed Undaria pinnatifida bed creation technique that is possible to do self-sustaining alternation of generation even in a hypertrophic water environment. Excessive nutrients were recovered from the waters, and utilized as a compost material in order to improve the sea environment and resolve regional issues. The participant's’ awareness of Amagasaki Port changed: the participants felt that although it was dirty, it was enjoyable and was a part of the coast near their own homes.
