Outline of Final Research Achievements |
After consideration of the result of the former experiments and exchanging views with Akira Kihara (Japanese traditional technique holder<Tamahagane steel production>) , final experimental production of the pig-iron production was carried out in October, 2014. Ancient furnace (Ehime University Furnace No.20) was built and pig-iron production was succeeded. The first purpose of reconstruction of pig-iron using iron sand could be achieved.
