Research Abstract |
In this project, high performance heterogeneous catalysts based on the properties of metal hydroxides and oxides have been developed. For example, supported copper hydroxides could act as efficient heterogeneous catalysts for aerobic oxidative homocoupling of terminal alkynes and 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition. In addition, several new catalytic transformations, e.g., oxidative amidations of alcohols, amines, and alkylarenes using OMS-2 as a catalyst, molecular oxygen as an oxidant and ammonia as a nitrogen source, have also been developed.
