Research Abstract |
Mega-containerships with a carrying capacity of more than 10,000TEUs were put into the container shipping market a few years ago. Since then, the fleet of mega-ships has been growing rapidly. This study developed a methodology to design an optimal container terminal layout for fast handling the mega-ships.
