Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to make clear the characteristics of inhabitants and actual situations of the residential environment at resort villa residential areas in exurbs outer the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, Chiba and Tochigi Prefecture. The results obtained from these studies are summarized as follows. Almost residents are the elderly people who have migrated to spend the second life after retirement in the paradise in exurbs from the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. As a result, these residential areas are gradually changing to the super-aging senior community. And alsovarious and serious problems for their residents daily life are actualized caused mainly by the progress of retiree’s settling down and aging in the resort villa residential area.
