Research Abstract |
We found that the molecular chaperone HSP90 regulates the stability of REV1, a Y-family DNA polymerase, and accumulation of REV1 at DNA damage sites. 2) We showed that suppression of heat shock transcription factor (HSF1) induces cellular senescence mediated by activation of p53-p21 pathway.
