Research Abstract |
We have developed a computerized technique to analyze general organ shape by using statistical shape models and support vector machine from abdominal 3-dimensional CT data. Then, we investigated the usefulness of the technique to evaluate liver fibrosis. Our results showed that the technique for general shape classification using statistical atlas is promising for computer aided diagnosis in body imaging.
