Research Abstract |
In the inflammatory site of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) patient, CD14+CD11c+ cells, which showed the morphology of macrophage and were double positive for a marker of monocyte (CD14) and a dendritic cells (CD11c), has significantly increased. In the non-inflammatory site, the popultation of CD14+CD11c+ cells was not significantly different from that in non-IBD patient. In lamina propria, Th17 cells were significantly induced by CD14+CD11c+ cells rather than CD14-CD11c+ cells and CD14-CD11c- cells
