Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to verify the relaxation using a video in a forest (vision), sounds of nature from the forest (audition), and smell of tree (olfactory sense). Beta brain waves decreased during intervention in healthy adults. After intervention, the vigor score of Profile of Mood States (POMS) significantly increased (p=0.003). The POMS Total Mood Disturbance (TMD) score decreased significantly, and mood was improved (p=0.001). In the patients, heart rate decreased (p=0.006), and tension and anxiety decreased (p=0.02). All patients said "good" about the adjusted environment. I considered that it became comfortable experience to have adjusted environment.
