Research Abstract |
Because the saliva from patients of xerostomia (dry mouth) is not able to obtain sufficiently, the diagnostic method used the salivary viscosity has not been established so far. Therefore, the measurements of viscosity with 50 ~100 μL of saliva were studied. The result suggests that the diagnosis for dry mouth might be achieved with one ~ two drops of saliva.
