Research Abstract |
Based on the theoretical foundation of auditory culture studies, media studies and urban studies, I aimed at building theory to understand the relevant between image of place in the digital media space and sound culture in urban space. In particular, it has been discussed several topics, such as the current music consumption that is mediated in media space, issues related to plagiarism and ownership of musical products, the ontology of musical works in the recording media, and the relationship of popular music and disaster areas.
