Research Abstract |
The aim of this study was, focusing on the acceptance of the so-called ‘Peterloo Massacre,’ to grasp the various discourses that prevailed in the early nineteenth century England. The main results of the said study are as follows: the publications of Progress and Stasis, “The Peterloo Massacre in the Poetry of Samuel Bamford” and “The Peterloo Massacre and William Hone.”
