Research Abstract |
In-situ observations of particles is essential for understanding particle acceleration mechanisms in space. In order to establish the measurement technique of medium-energy ions, here we developed a mass analysis unit, which is one of key technologies to overcome previous difficulties. We improved the design of the instrument thought radiation background simulation. Then we fabricated the instrument and confirmed its performance via laboratory tests.
