Research Abstract |
Experimental studies to increase average-power and peak-power of 2. 8-μm-band fiber lasers with erbium doped fluoride grass fibers have been performed. A wavelength-tunable fiber laser and a Q-switched pulsed fiber laser, with average-powers more than 10 W, have been developed. As a result, the infrared laser technology has been advanced.
