Research Abstract |
To elucidate tissue-specific functions of biological clocks in plants, we transformed and expressed TOC1-GFP or CCA1-GFP under several different tissue/organ-specific promoters, and suppressed biological clock functions tissue-specific manners. Some of transgenic lines showed late flowering phenotype and long hypocotyl length. Furthermore, by using split luciferase, we established reporter constructs that can detect clock promoters activity with tissue specific manners.
