Research Abstract

Double transgenic mice crossed GFP-LC3 transgenic mice with alphaMyHC-mCherry-LC3 transgenic mice are a new and useful tool to examine the role of autophagy in the heart. Terada M, Nobori K, et al. Circ J. 2010 Jan;74(1):203-6.
上記論文にて報告した我々が作製したalphaMyHC-mCherry-LC3トランスジェニックマウスを、理化学研究所・バイオリソースセンターに寄託した。C57BL/6-Tg(Myh6-mCherry/LC3)1Acvmという名称で登録となり、2011年5月のRIKEN BioResource Center Mouse Mail Newsにて、Mouse of the Monthとして取り上げられた。
alphaMHC-mCherry-LC3トランスジェニックマウスとGFP-LC3トランスジェニックマウスとのダブルトランスジェニックマウスを利用した上記論文に記載したオートファジー解析方法により、心不全を発症するデスミン心筋症モデルマウスα-β-crystallin R120Gにて、オートファゴゾームとライソゾームとの融合障害が起きているかについて検討した。
