Research Abstract |
I tried to get an whole picture of trading in the Sea of Japan coast which had a deep relation with a South Korean peninsula, taking two methods as below. (1) A study of Old Japanese Literature (2) A fildwork of coast of the Japan Sea I interpreted the old Japanese literature, folktales, and the history of buddhist temples and shinto shrines by making clear the ancient trading route overlaped with that of migration from the Korean Peninsula. Also studied 'Irou-sethuden'(the narrative of Ryukyu) and 'Sangoku-iji'(the Buddhist story of Korea) in parallel, and I presented the new interpretation and method of study introducing angles of 'trade'.
