Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、「量子重力理論の構築に向けて重要な手がかりを与えるAdS/CFT対応を、一般化されたフロー変換を用いて場の理論から解明しようとすること」である。場の理論からAdS/CFT対応を具体的に構成することでその本質が明確になり、また、その対応の拡張が可能になる。
本研究の中心をなすのは、一般化されたフロー変換の方法をd次元の場の理論に適用し新たな次元を創発させ、d+1次元の理論を構築するというアイデアである。この方法を共形不変な場の理論(CFT)に適用し、1. ブラックホールの導出、2. 重力場の運動方程式の導出、という2つの大きな研究項目を立て、総合的に研究計画を推進する。
