本研究においては、先の課題研究で明らかにした韓国の聴覚障害児用の外国語の教科書の分析を踏まえ、1.韓国の特別支援学校(聴覚障害)の授業分析、2.韓国の特別支援学校の学習指導要領(外国語)の分析、3.韓国の特別支援学校(聴覚障害)の外国語活動に関する教員養成の3つの柱から検討を行い、今後のわが国の聴覚障害児の外国語指導について考察を行う。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In relation to English education for children with hearing impairments, we shared textbooks developed in South Korea specifically for students with hearing disabilities with teachers involved in the education of such students in Japan. I conducted interviews to gather their opinions and questions, particularly regarding whether such textbooks, if available in Japan, could be effectively utilized in their teaching practices. Furthermore, I translated the section on English from the Special Education Common Curriculum within South Korea's national curriculum for special needs schools and analyzed the content of 105 pages of explanatory material. The curriculum outlined specific instructional considerations for students with visual and hearing impairments across the domains of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Additionally, it included general achievement standards organized by grade level. A comparative examination was also conducted to identify differences.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
聴覚障害児教育における言語指導について、実際に作成された教科書や学習指導要領の分析から、外国語の指導法を見直すことで、これまでの日本での指導法の良い点や課題についての知見を得ることができた。これらの知見の中には教育現場ですぐに活用できるものもあるため、今後は教育現場への還元に努めたい。
