Outline of Research at the Start

データから大規模ネットワーク全体を直接理解・制御するトップダウン型の手段となるデータ科学の基礎研究として、周期が異なる複数の制御ループが相互接続されたマルチレート/マルチループ(MR/ML)系に対する研究を行う。データ駆動型制御手法は制御データから直接解析・設計が行えるため、MR/ML系のように複雑な系に対する有用な手段となる。本研究では、データからMR/ML系の解析と設計を実現する方法について研究を行い、機械系の代表的なMR/ML系であるモーションシステムへ適用し、研究成果の検証を行う。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、周期が異なる複数の制御ループが相互接続されたマルチレート/マルチループ(MR/ML)系に対し、データ駆動型制御手法を適用し、大規模ネットワークの理解と制御の新たなアプローチを提案した。従来のモデルベース手法では、個々の構成要素の理解に基づいて全体を設計するため、手間と費用がかかり、統一的な扱いが困難であった。これに対し、データ駆動型制御手法は、制御データから直接解析・設計を行うことができ、MR/ML系のような複雑な系に対して有効である。しかし、従来の手法ではMR/ML系に対する有用なデータ駆動設計法が提案されていなかったため、新たにその設計方法について検討を行った。
研究の結果、従来のデータ駆動設計法を網羅的に検討した結果、設計する際に満たすべき制約が異なることが分かった。設計方法により異なるが、制御器の逆システムが必要な場合や、制御ループ毎にそれぞれ事前実験が必要な場合がある。逆システムを利用する場合、非最小位相系では利用することができない。また、制御ループ毎に事前実験を行う場合は手間が非常にかかる。そこで、逆システムを必要とせず、複数ループを有する系に対し、事前実験は一回で済む設計方法を検討し、その基礎理論を構築するに至った。
今後は、構築した基礎理論を元に、MR/ML系に対するデータ駆動設計方法を確立する予定である。また、確立した理論の有効性を示す数値シミュレーションを行うと共に、実機実験による検証を進める予定である。

Reason

理論構築の完了と論文投稿:MR/ML系に対するデータ駆動型制御手法の基礎理論を構築し、国内学会誌に論文を投稿した。査読を経て、近日中に掲載予定であり、研究成果の学術的な評価を得ている。
数値シミュレーションによる検証:構築した理論に基づき、MR/ML系の数値シミュレーションを実施し、提案手法の有効性を確認した。シミュレーション結果は、制御性能の向上を示しており、理論の適用可能性を実証している。
実機実験の準備段階:実機実験に向けて、必要なハードウェアの調達とソフトウェアの開発を進めており、現在は実験環境の整備段階にある。実験開始に向けた準備は順調に進んでいる。
研究体制と資源の確保:研究チームは、必要な専門知識と技術を有するメンバーで構成されており、研究活動に必要な設備や資源も確保されている。これにより、研究活動が円滑に進行している。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

本研究では、構築した理論に基づき、以下の方策を講じて研究を推進する。
実機実験の実施:実機実験に向けて、必要なハードウェアの調達とソフトウェアの開発を進めており、実験環境の整備が整い次第、実験を開始する予定である。実験結果を通じて、理論の実用性を検証し、制御手法の適用範囲を拡大する。
数値シミュレーションの深化:実験と並行して、異なるネットワーク構成や負荷条件下での数値シミュレーションを実施し、提案手法の汎用性と性能を評価する。シミュレーション結果をもとに、制御手法の最適化を図る。
研究成果の発信と国際共同研究の推進:研究成果を国内外の学会やジャーナルに発表し、国際的な研究ネットワークの構築を目指す。また、海外の研究機関との共同研究を通じて、最新の技術動向を取り入れ、研究の国際競争力を高める。
研究資金の確保と人材育成:科研費をはじめとする外部資金の獲得に努め、研究活動の継続的な支援を確保する。また、若手研究者の育成を目的としたワークショップやセミナーを開催し、研究チームの能力向上を図る。
以上の方策を実行することで、研究の成果を社会実装へとつなげ、学術的および実用的な貢献を目指す。
